NERVA, (A.D. 96-98), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 97, (25.40 g), obv. laureate head of Nerva to right, around [IMP NER]VA CAES AVG P M TR P COS III P P, rev. around FORTVNA AVGVST, Fortuna standing to left holding corn ears and cornucopiae, S C across, (S.3045, RIC 83, Banti 21, C.72). Brown patina, rough surfaces, weak in places, otherwise fine/nearly very fine and very scarce.
