POSTUMUS, (A.D. 259-268), AE double sestertius, Cologne mint, issued 261, 30mm, (18.87 g), obv. radiate draped and cuirassed bust of Postumus to right, around IMP C M CASS LAT POSTVMVS P F AVG, rev. Postumus in military attire standing to left, holding globe resting on spear, P M TR P COS II P P around, S C across, (S.11052, RIC 106, C.246, Bastian 63). Weak on parts of the legend, brown patination, large flan, otherwise very fine and rare, comes with collectors ticket description.
