VICTORY MEDAL 1914-19. 58401 Tpr J.G.Mawhinney. N.Z.E.F. Impressed; also fob medal, hand engraved in silver (37mm), no maker, ring top suspension, reverse inscribed 'Won By/T.Mawhinney/Seven.A.Side/Ranfurly/28.9.18'; another, hand engraved in silver (35mm), English maker and hallmark, ring top suspension, obverse inscribed 'T.M.', reverse inscribed 'N.P.F.T./1st/Schoolboys/1918'. Fine - very fine. (3)

58401 Tpr Jackson Greer Mawhinney, 37th Reinforcements, Mounted Rifles Brigade, NZEF, embarked from New Zealand 23rd April 1918, died, after discharge, from wounds inflicted or disease contracted while on active service, 9th October 1921.
