JAPAN, Edo period (17th century), Samurai battle horse stirrups (Abumi), a matched pair of forged iron horse stirrups in swan-like shape with a hand chiselled and bronze inlaid design of leaves approx (28cm longx25cm high; 4.3kg), maker's name on the back edge of the buckle uprights (the characters worn). Good. (2 pieces)
