HAROLD I, (1035-1040), silver cut half penny, jewel cross type, Wilton Mint, moneyer Leofing, (0.55 g), obv. diademed bust left without sceptre, dividing legend [+]HAR[...] around which begins at 12 o'clock, rev. cross composed of four ovals united at base by two concentric circles enclosing a pellet, legend +LI[..]LTVNE around, (S.1163, N.802, BMC i). Toned, very fine and an extremely rare moneyer.
