HENRY II, (1154-1189), silver penny, cross and crosslets type, class A2, Newcastle Mint, moneyer William, (1.42 g), obv. crowned bust facing wearing armour and mantle with sceptre in right hand, no trefoil of pellets between mantle and hand, rev. large cross potent with small cross potent in each angle, in centre a small cross in saltire, (S.1337, N.952/2). Toned, nearly fine - fine and scarce.
