RICHARD II, (1377-1399), silver half groat, type III, London Mint, mintmark cross pattee, (2.00 g), obv. crowned bust facing within tressure of arches, fleurs on all cusps, no pellets above crown, legend around, lombardic N, composite f, double saltire stops, rev. long cross pattee dividing the legends, in each angle three pellets, single saltire stop, reversed Roman Ns, (S.1683, N.1323). Toned, fine and rare.
