HENRY VI, (1422-1461), first reign, silver penny, annulet type Ic, London Mint, (0.90 g), obv. crowned facing bust within circle of pellets, bushy hair and down turned mouth, legend around, saltire stops, lombardic Ns, rev. long cross pattee dividing legend, trefoils in quarters, annulet in CIVI and LON quarters, lombardic Ns, (S.1844, N.1431). Toned, good fine.
