EDWARD IV, (1461-1470) first reign, silver groat, light coinage Group VIIb, York Mint, (2.79 g), obv. crowned facing bust, E on breast, quatrefoils flanking neck, fleurs on cusps, tressure of nine arches, all within pelleted circle, legend around, no stops, rev. long cross pattĀ£e dividing legend within two circles, trefoils in quarters, saltire stop after DEVM, (S.2012, N.1583). Toned, nearly very fine - very fine.
