HONG KONG, Elizabeth II, commemorative medallion set of three, including sovereign size 22 carat gold medal, 1972, for opening of the Cross Harbour Tunnel between Hong Kong and Kowloon, August 2nd 1972. This set presented to a late engineer of Hong Kong. Struck at the Royal Mint London for the authority, in sealed plastic display case. Uncirculated and rare. (3)

A similar set realised 1700 USD at Stacks Bowers 12.10.23.
