RUSSIA, Polar exploration, 50th anniversary 1984, in zinc (61mm), SS Chelyusbin stuck on ice and sank, crew rescued by plane landing on ice airstrip (ref Baldwin Sale 81, lot 3571); Japan, China Incident medal (1937) in silver washed base metal (55mm); Italy (Libya), 3rd Divn. CCNN 21 April 1935 Black shirts militia in bronze; USA, Alaska Yukon Pacific Expedition Seattle 1909 (so called dollar 365) in gilt metal (33mm). The first very scarce, good very fine - extremely fine. (4)
