CHINA, charms, a group of interesting charms, mostly of pictorial type; one 107mm polished brass with obv. Zheng Di tong bao around (correct virtue), rev. dragon and peacock with sun symbol, (No.1390 Zhong guo hua qiam [Zhong]); another similar smaller 55mm, copper (cf.No.1358 and 1314 Zhong); another with ring support brass heart shape 48x48mm (No.2053 Zhong) (Illustrated); another in brass 64mm obv. Hong Wu tong bao, rev. monk under tree, animals (horse, sheep, buffalo etc), (No.1387 Zhong) (illustrated); another 53mm, obv. Fu shou kwang ninh, rev. complex animals; another 56mm, with two edge holes for stringing, Lo Tzu talisman, obv. bearing the incantation of the Lord Above in a rectangular field, circular centre hole, rev. Lo Tzu and disciples etc, (cf.Thierry p.12 illustration); Horse charm, uniface 31mm, obv. horse left, (No.1872 Zhong) (illustrated); another three charms cast together with extra edge holes for hanging (illustrated); others (7), one with cast few symbols, others like cash coins as two lots of 3 from Spink-Taisai coin auction (lot 61) and Sngapore Coin Auctions (lot (1098) on original lot cards. Fine - good very fine, some rare. (15)
