TRIO: The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Commander (CBE) (Civil); Coronation Medal 1953; Equestrian Olympic Games Participant's or Official's Medal (1956), swing mounted. First ribbon worn and the enamel chipped, otherwise fine - extremely fine.

Ex Barry McGown Scott Collection and previously ex the Estate of Hugh Weir (Downies Sale 268 lot 1633).

The 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games equestrian events were held in Stockholm due to quarantine regulations restricting entry of bloodstock into Australia at that time.
