ITALY, Calabria, Tarentum (Taras), (c.380-325 B.C.), silver diobol, (1.11 g), obv. head of Athena to right wearing crested Corinthian helmet, ornamented with Skylla, rev. Herakles kneeling to right, holding club strangling the Nemean lion, (S.352, Vlasto 1316). Toned, some surface porosity, very fine and scarce.
