ITALY, Bruttium, Croton (Kroton), (400-325 B.C.), silver stater, (7.53 g), obv. head of Hera Lacinia to facing slightly to right, rev. naked Herakles seated to left on rock, covered with lion skin, holds cup in extended right hand and club in left hand, around **KROTW*, **MD* in field, (cf.S.474, SNG ANS 382, SNG ANS 1800). Lightly toned, very fine and rare.
