MACEDON, Kingdom of Philip II, (359-336 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.43 g), Pella II Mint, issued c. 323/2-315 B.C., obv. head of Zeus laureate to left, dotted border, rev. naked youth or small man (Philip II), on horseback to right, **Q* below horse's foreleg, around above **FILIP POU*, (S.6681, Le Rider 437 [D231/R358 dies, Pl.18]). Lightly toned, extremely fine and extremely rare.
