THESSALY, Trikka, (4th century B.C.), AE dichalkon (17.5mm, 3.27 g), obv. head of nymph Trikke right with hair rolled, **P* behind her neck, border of dots, rev. TPIKKA left up circular, **IWN* right down, warrior, naked but for crested helmet, advancing right, with sword and oval shield that has on its inside one vertical and two diagonal struts, (This variety not found in consulted references however S.-, BCD 786.4 [This Coin], cf.Rogers 553, HGC 4, 338). Good fine, two-tone green patina; both sides slightly off centre, very rare.
