L. LUCRETIUS TRIO, (76 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.84 g), obv. radiate head of Sol to right, rev. seven stars within pellet around crescent moon, TRIO above, L.LVCRETI below, (S.321, Cr.390/1, Syd.783, RSC Lucretia 2). Toned with some hoard patination, struck off centre on obverse, good very fine and rare.

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 134, lot 3706. Previously Dr Hugh Preston Collection. Also Spink Circular, Feb 1982.
