L. VALERIUS ACISCULUS, (45 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.89 g), obv. Apollo Soranus to right, ACISCV LVS and pick-axe behind, rev. Valeria Luperca on the heifer to right holding veil, [L.VALE]RIVS in exergue, (S.469, Cr.474/1a, Syd.998, RSC Valeria 17). Flan split from striking, nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
