AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), silver denarius, Lugdunum Mint, issued 11-9 B.C. (3.72 g), obv. bare head of Augustus to right around AVGVSTV[S] DIVI F, rev. IMP XII, across SICIL in exergue, Diana Venatrix standing looking right, holding bow and spear, dog at feet, (cf.S.1612, RIC 337, RSC 168, BMC 189). Toned, banker's mark on obverse, good very fine and rare.
