NERO, (A.D. 54-68), silver denarius, issued c.65-66, Rome Mint, (3.34 g), obv. laureate head to right of Nero, around NERO CAESAR AVGVSTVS, rev. Salus seated to left on throne, holding patera, [S]ALVS in exergue, (cf.S.1945, RIC 52, BMC 90, RSC 314). Mild surface pitting, otherwise good very fine and very scarce.
