DOMITIAN, (A.D. 81-96), AE as, Rome Mint, issued A.D. 86, (10.53 g), obv. laureate head of Domitian to right, around IMP CAES DOMITIAN AVG GERM COS X, rev. around MONETA AVGVST, Moneta standing to left, holding scales and cornucopiae, S C across field, (S.2807, RIC 270, C.325). Attractive dark brown patina, very fine or better, scarce.
