NERVA, (A.D. 96-98), AE dupondius, Rome Mint, issued A.D. 97, (12.54 g), obv. radiate head of Nerva to right, around IMP NERVA CAES AVG P M TR P [COS III P P], rev. around LIBERTAS PVBLICA, SC across, Libertas standing to left, holding pileus and sceptre, (S.3059, RIC 87, C.116). Light brown patina, very fine, weak on parts of the legend and scarce.

Ex Dr V.J.A.Flynn Collection and previously from M.R.Roberts with their priced ticket ($475).
