HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, Rome Mint, issued A.D. 134-8, (3.36 g), obv. laureate head of Hadrian to right, around HADRIANVS AVG COS III PP, rev. Hadrian veiled standing to left, sacrificing with patera over tripod, around VOTA PVBLICA, (cf.S.3550, RIC II.3: 2325-2330, RSC 1484a, BMC 780). Extremely fine.
