ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), AE sestertius, (24.97 g), Rome Mint, issued A.D. 140-4, obv. laureate head of Antoninus Pius to right, around ANTONINVS AVG PI VS P P TR P COS III, rev. Antoninus Pius standing right on left, holding Concordia, shaking hands with Faustina I to right, Marcus Aurelius and Faustina in lower centre, also shaking hands, around CONCORD[IAE], S C across field, (S.4158, RIC 601a, C.146). Deeply toned, nearly very fine and rare.
