MARCUS AURELIUS, (161-180), silver denarius, Rome Mint, issued A.D. 165, (3.17 g), obv. laureate head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around M ANTONINVS AVG ARMENIACVS, rev. around P M TR P XIX IMP III COS III, Roma seated to left holding palladium and short spear, (cf.S.4923, BMC 368, RIC 138, 141, RSC 481). Toned, nearly extremely fine.
