MARCUS AURELIUS (A.D. 161-180), AE sestertius, Rome Mint, issued 172-173, (24.20 g), obv. M ANTONINVS AVG TR P XXVII, laureate head to right, rev. GE[RMANI]CO AVG IMP VI COS III around, SC in exergue, trophy between German captive standing right and German woman seated left. (S.4974, RIC 1058, C.227). Edge crack, weak on the legend in places, otherwise good fine/fine.
