FAUSTINA JUNIOR, wife of Marcus Aurelius, (died A.D. 175), silver denarius, (3.50 g), obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around FAVSTINA AVGVSTA, rev. VENVS GENETRIX, Venus standing to left, holding Victory and resting left hand on shield set on helmet, (S.5268, RIC 734, RSC 280). Good very fine - nearly extremely fine.
