CRISPINA, wife of Commodus, (A.D. 177-192), silver denarius, issued 177-192 A.D., Rome Mint, (3.28 g), obv. bust to right of Crispina, around CRISPINA AVGVSTA, rev. I V N O around, Juno, veiled standing to front with head to left, holding patera and sceptre, to left, a peacock standing to left. (S.6001, RIC 283, BMC 41, RSC 21). Toned, good very fine and scarce.
