PERTINAX, (A.D. 193), silver denarius, Rome Mint, issued 193, (3.35 g), obv. Pertinax head laureate to right, around IMP CAES P HELV PERTIN AVG, rev. around PROVID DEOR COS II, Providentia standing to left, holding up hand to star and other on breast, (S.6046, RSC 43, RIC 11a, BMC 13). Lightly toned, good very fine - nearly extremely fine with a strong portrait, very rare.
