CLODIUS ALBINUS, (A.D. 195-197), silver denarius, Rome Mint, issued A.D. 194, (2.95 g), obv. bare head of Clodius Albinus to right, around D CLOD SEPT ALBIN CAES, rev. around MINER PA CIF COS II, Minerva standing to left holding spear shield and olive branch, (S.6144, BMC 98, RIC 7, RSC 48). Lightly toned, some surface pitting, very fine and rare.
