CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 212, Rome Mint, (3.28 g), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG BRIT, rev. Hercules standing facing head to left, holding branch and club with lion skin, around P M TR P XV COS III PP, (cf.S.6828, RIC 192, RSC 196). Some brilliance about uncirculated.
