CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver antoninianus, issued 217, Rome Mint, (3.88 g), obv. radiate bust draped and cuirassed to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM, rev. Serapis with modius on head, standing facing head to left, holding sceptre and wreath in hand, around P M TR P XX COS IIII P P, (S.6780, RIC 289f, RSC 383). Good extremely fine and rare in this condition.
