AURELIAN, (A.D. 270-275), billon antoninianus, Ticinum Mint, 1st officina, emission in 274-5, (3.53 g), obv. radiate cuirassed bust right, around IMP AVRELIANVS AVG, rev. ORIENS AVG around, AXXIR in exergue, Sol standing left, raising hand and holding globe; seated captives flanking below, (S.11571, RIC 63 (1790 on line), C.145). As struck, with full silvering, minor flan crack, uncirculated, rare as such.
