TACITUS, (A.D. 275-276), billon antoninianus, Rome Mint, issued November-December 275, (4.22 g), obv. radiate draped and cuirassed bust of Tacitus to right, around IMP C M CL TACITVS AVG, rev. around SALVS AVG, Salus standing to left feeding snake from altar and holding sceptre, XXI**D* in exergue, (S.11872, RIC 5, 3493 (on line), RIC 93 [corrected], C.123). Attractive patina, extremely fine, very scarce in this condition.
