MAXENTIUS, (A.D. 306-312), AE folles, Rome Mint, issued 308-11, (5.45 g), obv. laureate head to right of Maxentius, around IMP C MAXENTIVS P F AVG, rev. [CONSE]RV VRB SVAE around, RBQ in exergue, Roma seated facing, head left, in hexastyle temple, holding globe and sceptre, shield at side, knobs as acroteria and wreath in pediment, (S.14987, RIC 210). Toned, slightly off centred, extremely fine, scarce.
