CONSTANTINE I, Divvs Constantine, billon reduced centenionalis as a posthumous issue of Constantine I, issued in Antioch, c.342-347 A.D., (1.47 g), obv. veiled head of Constantine I to right, around DV CONSTANT NVS PT AVGG, rev. IVST VEN MEN, SMANH in exergue, Aequitas in long dress standing facing, head turned left holding scales in her right hand, (S.17465, RIC VIII p.516, 64, LRBC 1, C.314). Dark blackish green patination, extremely fine and rare.

Ex The New York Sale VII, 15 January 2004 (lot 271) with its ticket, where it realised $275US.
