VALENS, (364-378), silver siliqua, Treveri Mint, issued c.367-375, (1.57 g), obv. pearl-diademed head of Valens to right, around DN VALEN S PF AVG, rev. VRBS ROMA, Roma seated to left on throne holding spear and Victory on globe, TRPS. in exergue, (S.19675, RIC 27b, RSC.109c). Attractively toned, good very fine and scarce.
