MAGNUS MAXIMUS, (A.D. 383-388), silver siliqua, uncertain mint, (1.39 g), obv. pearl-diademed bust to right of Magnus Maximus, around D N MAG MAX IMVS [PF AVG], rev. Roma seated facing head to left on throne holding globe and reversed spear, [VIR]TVS RO MA[NORVM] around, (cf.S.20644, cf.RIC 84b, cf.RSC 20b). Lightly toned, has been clipped, very fine and scarce.
