BRITISH EMPIRE GAMES, 1950, Competitor's Medal, struck in gilt silver (63mm), by M&K Ltd N.Z. (Mayer & Kean, Wellington), unawarded (M&P.1950/8). One minor edge nick on reverse, a few marks in reverse field, otherwise uncirculated and stated to be designer's own example as acquired by Allan Sutherland.

Together with a page marked 'Journal July/Oct/1949' giving details of the Empire Games NZ Medals, all written in Allan Sutherland's hand.
