(BLUESKIN) AGRICULTURAL & PASTORAL ASSOCIATION, stock medal, struck in silver (44mm), by Harrop & Neill, Dunedin, reverse inscribed 'Awarded/To/J.Fowler/1st Prize'/Draught Entire/"Heather Jock"./Blueskin./1877.', with case, this with some damage. Edge bumps and nicks, otherwise very fine.

Heather Jock was a pure-bred Clydesdale entire horse offered for stud in 1877 by his owner James Fowler, with the offer to travel in Oamaru, Papakaio and surrounding districts. In September 1878 James Fowler sold Heather Jock to Mr Andrew Chrystal of Oamaru.
