PASTORAL AWARDS TO THE RAYNER FAMILY, includes a plain silver bowl (diameter 14.3cm x height 8.3cm), hallmarked for Dublin 1907 by D.M, one side inscribed 'Wairarapa East Coast Pastoral & Agricultural Society/Presented By/Messrs. Moore Bros./For Most Points/In Unhoused Romneys/To be won three times', and on the opposite side is inscribed '1921..N.G.Rayner. 11.Points./1922..M.McLeod. 7.Points./1923..N.G.Rayner. 17 Points/1924. N.G.Rayner. 16 Points.'; also a small silver trophy-style cup with lid (diameter 5cm x height 13cm), hallmarked for Sheffield 1935 by maker W&H (Walker & Hall, Sheffield), on the base is impressed '39', with side handles, one side inscribed 'Wairarapa Show/1938/Most Points/Natural Condition/Romneys', the opposite side inscribed near top edge '1938. Wm.Rayner. 30 Pts.' Good very fine. (2)
