SOUTHLAND METROPOLITAN AGRICULTL & PASTORAL ASSN, a group of five medals struck in silver (37.5mm), by A.H.Wittenbach Melbne, reverses inscribed as follows, first, 'J.B.Sutton/for/Champion/Lincoln Ram./Dec. 1897.', the second, 'J.B.Sutton/For/Champion/Lincoln Ewe./Dec.1898.' [illustrated], the third, 'J.B.Sutton/for/Champion/Lincoln Ram/Dec.1899.', the fourth, 'J.B.Sutton/for/Champion/Lincoln Ewe/Dec.1899', the fifth, 'J.B.Sutton/for/Champion/Lincoln Ewe/Dec.1900.'. With edge nicks, hairlines and some scratches, otherwise good very fine and very rare. (5)
