TAKOU DOG TRIALS, 1920, fob medal, hand engraved in silver and gilt (27x33mm), hallmarked for Birmingham 1915 by maker F.H.A.Ld (F.H.Adams Ltd), ring top suspension, obverse inscribed 'Takou/Dog/Trials/1920', reverse inscribed 'Won/by/W.J.Rogers/Maiden Dog & Man/"Storm".' Fine.

The 8th annual trials of the Takou Sheep Dog Trial Club were held on Messrs Scott Bros' property on 9 and 10 April 1920. The Maiden dog and man scoring most points in Classes 1 and 2 - W.J.Rogers' Storm; silver medal donated by Mr C.Martin.
