PAIR: British War Medal 1914-18; Victory medal 1914-19. 17683 Tpr. A.F.Liddell. N.Z.E.F. on first medal, 17683 Tpr. A.F.Leddell. (sic) N.Z.E.F. on second medal. Both medals impressed.; also return fobs from Morven, handcrafted in gold (9ct, 8.97g, 26x26mm), no maker, ring top suspension, reverse inscribed 'A Token/of/Honour/To/A.F.Liddel. (sic)/From/Morven Residents/Great War/1914 1919'; another from Winton, handcrafted in voided gold (9ct, 6.82g, 26mm), no maker, crossed rifles and ring top suspension, obverse inscribed '17683 Tpr A.F.Liddell 12th Reinf. From The Citizens of Winton', reverse inscribed 'On His Return From The Great War 1914-19'. No ribbons on first two medals, otherwise very fine.
17683 Tpr Andrew Frederick Liddell, 19th Reinforcements, New Zealand Mounted Rifles, Machine-Gun section, NZEF, embarked from New Zealand 5 December 1917.^(Note: On fob is 12th Reinforcements).
