Impressed; A.B.C., fob medal hand engraved in silver with gold (40x28mm), English maker and hallmark, reverse inscribed 'A.B.C./S.Dawson/1906'; also, Auckland Competitions Society, fob medal, handcrafted in silver with gold (37x27mm) by Halling, Auck., fancy scroll and ring top suspension, reverse inscribed 'Prepared/Reading/Colin Dawson/1926'; Auckland Competitions Society Inc, fob medal, struck in silver (37x29mm), by A.Kohn (Auckland), scroll and ring top suspension, reverse inscribed 'Colin Dawson/Recitation II/12 /1927'; M.A.A.A.C., fob medal, hand engraved in silver (27x23mm), by 'W', ring top suspension, reverse inscribed 'C.H.Dawson/2nd 100yds 9 4/5 /20.11.37'. The silver toned, very fine - extremely fine. (6)
12/691 Pte Sydney Theodore Dawson, AIB, Main Body, embarked from New Zealand 16 October 1914, died after discharge 20 November 1918, aged 29, from wounds inflicted or disease contracted while on active service.
