29722 Pte William Wiseman Ballantine, 18th Reinforcements, Otago Infantry Battalion, D Company, NZEF, embarked from New Zealand 16 October 1916; WIA 21 February 1918 France; post war suffered permanent disability and received 'loss left leg' pension.
