LINCOLN, handcrafted in gold (15ct, 7.7g, 24x24mm), no maker, ring top suspension, obverse inscribed 'WEG', reverse inscribed 'Pvt. W.E.Goodman/From/Lincoln Residents/31.10.19'. Very fine.

Appears to be 72134 Pte Wilfred George Augustus Goodman, 38th Reinforcements, Specialists Company, NZEF, embarked from New Zealand 5 June 1918. Discharged 19 September 1919. Note incorrect initials on medal. ^^Next of kin was father, Harry George Goodman, Lincoln Hotel, Lincoln, Canterbury, New Zealand.
