Aitchison/26th Rft/By The Residents Of/Otepopo/In Memory Of The/Great War/1914-18'. Stain mark on gold medal needs cleaning, otherwise extremely fine.
47515 Pte William Aitchison, 26th Reinforcements, Otago Infantry Regiment, D Company, NZEF, embarked from New Zealand 9 June 1917; Discharged Medically Unfit 9 February 1919; British War Medal is his full medal entitlement.
