E.T.R.V (East Taieri Rifle Volunteers), prize medal, struck and handcrafted in gold (probably 9ct, 29.12g, 47.5x59mm), no maker, ring top suspension, obverse inscribed 'Presented/To The/E.T.R.V/By/Captain Allan/May, 1866.', reverse inscribed 'Won By/W.L.Christie/Novr 10th/1866'. Hairlines, otherwise very fine and rare.
